From the moment I arrived until the moment I left having completed the sale of my Ford Focus I was treated as a valued customer, each step of the process being explained in full and no slashing the quoted price by ridiculous amounts! Very reasonable, offer close to online offer. Very good that same day payment is made and no admin charge. Payment was received exactly as promised by 6 pm. Their representative, Gavin, was a pleasure to deal with. Would use again and recommend without hesitation. One item to be aware of though, do not have an online valuation until you are ready to sell, it will drop quickly.
The price I was given on the Internet was the price I received with no fuss or hesitation.
I checked three online car buying services and the valuation came in the middle but they seemed to have a good reputation. Dealers seemed to be asking about £2,000 more for equivalent cars so the price looked about right. It was also £2,500 more than the heroic offer TC Harrison had made as a trade in against a new Ford. I didnt put any details of condition in but took the car and documents over to Coventry expecting to be knocked down a bit. Very professional guy (think his name was Steve) looked it over, updated the valuation for a couple of scuffed wheels, a dent and as we missed a service back in 2009 he couldn’t put it through as full service history. All seemed fair. Came up with acceptable final price so I accepted. Money in bank as promised. May have got more selling privately but for a hassle free experience can’t fault it.
